Volunteers make a valuable contribution to the work of Corazon Care in many ways: giving support and friendship to adults and children, offering practical and emotional support to families, providing childcare and driving assistance, helping in administration, and serving on committees. Volunteers make a unique contribution because they provide a quality of involvement that cannot be paid for.

Key criteria for volunteers include:
willingness to make a commitment and work as part of a team
willingness to attend MacKillop Family Services volunteer
training programs
specific skills according to the needs of Corazon
working with children / police check
agreement to confidentiality principles
commitment to values and policies of 
Corazon Care / MacKillop Family Services
